Join Thryve as a Business Development Expert – European Health Insurances
Thryve, a global leader in API engine technology for wearables and health sensor data, is seeking a strategic and highly connected Business Development Expert to drive partnerships with European health insurers. This role is pivotal in expanding Thryve’s footprint in the healthcare ecosystem by forging deep, sustainable collaborations with statutory and private health insurance providers.
Role Overview:
As our Business Development Expert, you will be responsible for initiating and expanding partnerships with health insurers across Europe. With a strong network in at least one European country and a deep understanding of the healthcare payer landscape, you will be instrumental in aligning Thryve’s technological capabilities with the strategic objectives of insurers—particularly in areas like care research, internal patient management, and disease management programs (DMPs).
You are a confident communicator, equally comfortable discussing product value with innovation teams as you are in boardroom conversations with C-level executives. Your approach is both professional and energetic, and you thrive in building long-term relationships rooted in shared value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, initiate, and close strategic partnerships with European health insurers.
- Translate insurer goals into meaningful collaboration opportunities involving Thryve’s health data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
- Drive adoption of Thryve solutions in areas such as disease management, prevention programs, and care coordination.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to partners, helping them navigate and implement digital health strategies.
- Collaborate closely with internal product, data science, and customer success teams to ensure the successful delivery of insurer-focused solutions.
- Represent Thryve at industry events and in high-level meetings with key stakeholders in the insurance ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven track record of building or scaling partnerships with European health insurance companies.
- Established network within at least one European country’s payer landscape.
- Deep understanding of insurer objectives and operational models in care innovation, patient engagement, and population health.
- Ability to communicate complex health tech solutions in a way that resonates with both operational managers and executive leadership.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, high-energy approach to partnership building.
- Fluent in English and at least one major European language (e.g. German, French, Spanish).
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience working directly within or alongside health insurers.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and digital health initiatives in the EU.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
