Job requirements

Who We Need:

We’re seeking a Vice President Engineering to drive the expansion of Thryve’s powerful SaaS data engine. With a background in software engineering and system architecture, you’re combining technical skills with competent leadership to define and deliver high-quality solutions at a rapid pace. You’re structuring and guiding the tech team, ensuring motivation and efficient feature delivery, from requirement engineering to QA approval. You love the dynamic of a growing B2B SaaS company and defining a winning feature roadmap together with the product team.

Must-Haves:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of 20+ tech talents
  • Experience in high-throughput data processing infrastructures and tech architecture design, with a creative ability to identify the best solution
  • A background in software engineering and an understanding of Thryve’s value proposition and customer utilization
  • A high bar with respect to software engineering quality
  • Experienced in leading remote, English-speaking tech teams
  • A highly motivated builder mindset who loves shipping great features

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Successful track-record in growing a tech team from scratch to 50+ people in a dynamic startup environment
  • Fascination for health monitoring, bio-hacking and API-first software environments

Responsibilities:

  • Technology definition: defining the software and architectural requirements for new feature and product deliveries
  • Implementation & Delivery: planning, allocating and guiding resources effectively across multiple domains, while monitoring and ensuring efficient output of the tech team with adherence to timeline
  • Leadership: Managing a tech team of 20+ members, ensuring individual growth and a collaborative work environment that is driven by results
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with the business team to negotiate product deliverables, balancing technical possibilities with business objectives.
  • Quality: Ensuring high quality for the end product, both towards the customer and internally
