Job requirements

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Working Student to join our Marketing team and support our website optimization, keyword strategy, and content performance initiatives. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to improve our organic visibility, rankings, and traffic. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about digital marketing and health tech, eager to gain real-world experience in a fast-moving startup environment.

You’ll play a key role in optimizing content, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving measurable results across our digital channels.



Responsibilities:

  • Perform keyword research and build keyword lists for blog posts, landing pages, and core site content.

  • Optimize new and existing content for SEO (meta titles, descriptions, headers, alt texts, internal links).

  • Conduct regular SEO audits and identify on-page, technical, and content improvements.

  • Track keyword rankings, traffic, and performance in tools like Google Search Console, Matomo, and SemRush.

  • Analyze competitor SEO strategies and identify content gaps or backlink opportunities.

  • Assist with link-building efforts (e.g., outreach, guest blogging, directories).

  • Support website structure improvements and clean-up tasks like fixing broken links or redirects.

  • Collaborate with the content and tech teams to implement SEO best practices on our CMS (WordPress/Webflow).

  • Help monitor the performance of SEO experiments and content campaigns.

  • Support with content marketing and other marketing functions when needed.



Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in SEO, digital marketing, and analytics.

  • Familiarity with SEO concepts and tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog) is a plus.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to synthesize data.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms is a plus (especially WordPress or Webflow).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (German is a plus).

  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work both independently and in a team
